A woman, who can pause to watch a lone leaf drift down to earth, and, then, in wonder, brings it home to honor, she is going to be one fantastic mom in teaching a young boy about the wonders of this world. Lucky Woods!🍁
I had a feeling I wouldn't be the only one to comment on the coaster reference. I've got an East Coaster on my desk. It's a woodcut of the East Coast of the U.S. which means it's perfect except for the Florida bit.
Do you have a nice coaster recommendation? My husband just finished building me a desk and because I don't want a divorce, I should break my habit of not using coasters and producing ugly water rings on things, lol. But so many coasters are.. shall I say, too midwest-core? (I'm allowed to say that I'm from michigan ;)
I still sleep with my closing-in-on 2 years old (HOW?!?!) child's bed shoved against the wall next to mine so there's less chance of a night time wanderings, but I have all these fantasies about reclaiming my space! Which now needs to be a TV area, craft area, sleep area, get dressed area, meditate area all in one and yowza, it's gonna be a challenge to make it happen! So I love seeing everyone else tackle their spaces already so I can keep hopes alive for mine 🙏🏻😄😉
Haha I slept the entire first year with a child on my chest, so maybe?! 😅🤭 Although it might also have something to do with the fact that I'm still breastfeeding at night and can't be arsed to walk to another room for it 😁😉
im here for the workspace developments! i am moving into my fiancé’s place next month where i will have my own office, and i just purchased my own beautiful desk off fb marketplace ($100, solid wood, huge, a drawer, not trendy) and i cant wait to cultivate my own little space for thinking and working.
Along the lines of switching to positive focus ... when I find myself thinking about everything that could go wrong with an upcoming event, I can sometimes stop myself and say, "But what if everything goes right?"

That future office space looks lovely!

I have these from World Market that I like: https://www.worldmarket.com/p/square-marble-and-wood-coasters-4-pack-576128.html
But I’d probably look at Food52, CB2, anthro, and Etsy if I was shopping now.

Coasters are a necessity! I always have two: one of my giant water bottle, and one for the coffee/kombucha/beer/whisky depending on time of day.
Or all of them! 😅

Ahhh that’s gonna feel so good!
