Missoula is a wonderful place to live, but we're not supposed to be telling people about it!

It's been just over two years since a mutual (A Brown) suggested I reach out to Jessica. Glad to be reminded that she's here.

OK, but just don't let anyone find out about the Bison Range, or those lakes in the Missions!

I really like the idea of life in a place being embodied. You live in it, not just around it, and really connect to it. Missoula seems like the sort of place where people who appreciate nature would find that to be the case. I've only been once, but I loved it. This was a fun read that took me back there, even if only briefly!

Montana is one of the most beautiful places I've seen. Every time we visit, my husband and I fantasize about moving there but then I remember how much I hate cold winters 🤪

Also, I just read your piece in the Guardian and now I have tears on my toast and a snotty nose. I lost one of my beloved kitties to FIP almost 17 years ago and it was devastating. We now have had several cats and kittens in our rescue diagnosed with FIP and they have been successfully treated and it's honestly such a miracle that this treatment exists, even though it was too late for your sweet Snoot and my sweet Poppy

Is this Jessica Reed Krause, or Jessica Reed?

Great interview. I've never been to Montana but had a best friend from there. We met in Las Vegas, she never wanted to return-- glitz and glamour became her home.

I still haven't found home. Time is running out, and like Jessica, I hope I don't discover it after being laid to rest in a pine box.
