This is the perfect example of the kind of writing I love the most... words that make me appreciate what I already have more deeply instead of making me feel like I need or lack something.

Yes to all of this. Now I'm getting curious about my own list (which would also no doubt breed a fatherly side-eye).

Happy break! Breathe in that high mountain air for those of us down below.

Enjoy your break! I hope it's filled with as many things on your list as you can possibly squeeze into a too-short summer.

Very good list! I like a strong back and 'm adding to mine being able to lift a 40-lb bag of dog food and dump into the bin without so much as a strained grunt

I am such a natural grunter, and I'm trying to stop because W3 has started to imitate it lol

A lovely list to have for guidance 💖 “cats, plural” made me smile while one of my cats kneading biscuits on my stomach and now is curled up happily by my feet (this weekend I gave them extras of their snack food, so they’ve been in a good mood). And I love “my treat!” also! It’s so nice to able to treat your friends and family.

Oh, this is what I needed today. Thank you so much for your beautiful words and for sharing your version of success — it's making me reflect on my own, and boy, is it beautiful.

That image of the red succulent turning green got me. I’ve felt that shift too, thinking I was thriving until life handed me better conditions and suddenly I was actually alive. It’s wild how much of our “success” stories are just survival stories in disguise.

Success is such a funny beast. I'm feeling successful these days, but I think it's also partly in how I define it now!

Feels like I'll be redefining it, always

In the midst yet again of redefining what success means to me and even though it’s frustrating, I gotta say, it also feels so good. 🩷

I love this so much, Kelton. I think my definition of success has now become to do whatever it takes to let love flow through me more freely.

I empathize with this deeply. I went to work for myself 7 years ago and it’s really challenging. It was

so difficult to start and it remains difficult to maintain.
